Mayank Yadav was born on 17 June 2002 in Delhi. Mayank has trained in cricket from Delhi's Sonnet Club. He plays domestic cricket for Delhi. This is the same academy from where Indian wicketkeepers like Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan and Ashish Nehra have emerged. In his domestic career, he has played one first-class match, 17 List-A and 10 T20 matches so far. In 17 List A matches, Mayank has taken 34 wickets while in 10 T20 matches, he has taken 12 wickets.
IPL 2024 Match 15 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Lucknow won the match by 28 runs.
